What sizes do your custom name tags come in?
Choose a 1" × 3", 1.5" × 3" or 2" × 3" rectangle with rounded corners, or a 1.5" × 3" oval. Every size is full-color UV printed.
How much do custom name tags cost?
Name tags are $8.00 for 1" × 3", $8.50 for 1.5" × 3", $8.75 for 2" × 3" and $8.50 for the 1.5" × 3" oval. Silver or gold tags add $1.00 per tag. Add a gold, silver or black frame for $3.00 per tag. A magnetic back is included free, or choose a pin back for $0.75. Need spares? Add a 5-pack of extra magnetic backs for $4.00. Order 10 or more and save on the name tag and frame: 5% off 10–24, 10% off 25–49, 15% off 50–99 and 20% off 100 or more. Want us to create a custom design? It's a one-time $25 per design with two rounds of revisions included. Setting up your name and logo on one of our premade designs is always free.
What's the difference between white, silver and gold name tags?
White name tags print full color edge to edge, so any premade design or background works. Silver and gold name tags are plastic with a metallic finish for $1.00 more per tag. Your text and logo print in full color and the metal shows as the background, so edge-to-edge color isn't available; choose one of our designs made for metal or upload artwork without a full background.
Can I add a frame to my name tag?
Yes. Choose a gold, silver or black frame in step 4 for $3.00 per tag, with the same volume discounts as your name tags. Frames are available for every size, including the 1.5" × 3" oval, and the live preview shows your design framed so you can compare finishes before you order.
Magnetic or pin back: which should I choose?
A magnetic back holds your name tag without poking holes, which is ideal for nice shirts, blouses and uniforms. A pin back is the classic choice and stays put on thicker fabric like jackets, vests and aprons.
Can I change the colors and font on a premade design?
Yes. Pick each design's colors from swatches or a color picker, or type a hex code or Pantone (PMS) number. You can also choose the text color and one of eight fonts. PMS colors are matched as closely as possible with full-color UV printing and confirmed in your free proof.
Can I upload my own name tag design?
Yes. Download the free template for your size, design with your background running to the bleed edge, and upload a PDF, PNG, JPG, SVG, AI or EPS file at 300 DPI or higher.
Can each name tag have a different name?
Yes. In the Quantity & Names step, list one name per line, with a title if you like. We set up every name tag and include them all in your proof.
Do you offer metal, silver or gold name tags?
Yes. Every size is available now in white, silver or gold. Silver and gold are plastic with a metallic finish for $1.00 more per tag, and your text and logo print in full color on top.
Will I see a proof before my name tags are printed?
Yes. Every order includes a free digital proof, and nothing goes to print until you approve it. Orders ship in 1–3 business days after you approve your proof. Need them by a certain date? Add your deadline in the special instructions.
